I was so into this until it dropped its simple premise and started destroying itself by becoming overly convoluted. Even though I prefer season two, season one’s story setup was easily the show’s best, and the start of this one reminded me of that a bit; I was looking forward to Reacher becoming a bodyguard for this random rich family and uncovering their secrets. I know it would’ve been out of character for him to shoot a cop so recklessly and all that other stuff but man… the story would’ve been far more entertaining to me. I hope it picks up though, at the very least I’m glad it’s still funny as hell and a generally chill show to watch! Also, no, Alan Ritchson should *not* be cast as Batman… I feel like people see a jacked dude and immediately think Batman but a lot more goes into that character than physicality, and nothing I’ve seen of this guy says that he could pull off the emotional complexity that goes with that role. Plus like even physically, I just don’t see it.
