8.1/10
This episode was definitely a step down from last week, but that’s not a bad thing—not every episode can be absolutely thrilling, and I’m sure the next three will bring things back up to the usual level.
Atom Eve and Invincible’s fighting chemistry was one of the highlights for me. Their dynamic is so entertaining, and they’re easily one of my favorite pairings in the show.
I expected a bit more from Titan, but at the end of the day, he’s literally just a rock, so maybe I was overestimating him. The prison fight and the dragon battle were the best sequences this episode had to offer—definitely the most exciting parts.
I’m also finally warming up to Oliver. Now that he’s finding a balance between his rage and his powers, I can actually start seeing him as Mark’s brother rather than just Omni-Man’s son. That change in perspective makes me like him a lot more.
Overall, a solid episode—nothing mind-blowing, but it still kept things interesting.
