Redundant as fuck series. Episode 1 ends with him working for Miami Metro with the same supporting cast as the original. All the stuff with Harry is shit we saw in the flashbacks in season 1 too. I'm talking present but they also flashback to the Moser family stuff too They do have Deb doing different stuff but that's it. Also it's much more meandering I guess tho that's not a bad thing. Cool to see him slowly develop through the more case of the week regular procedural shit. There isn't really a big killer he's hunting down till the second half. Tho I like how there's two serial killer plots and it's actually interwoven into stuff pretty well. Honestly after the pilot everything unfolds at a pretty natural pace. They nailed the casting of the old characters. Especially Dexter and Deb. Get down the mannerisms (tho with Dexter being a little more awkward which makes sense). They even get down the voice. Like he sounds like a younger Michael C Hall. It's kind of weird
