I don't know if Andor is the best SW ever, but it is definitely the best Disney era's SW. Characters and locations feel real in a way they haven't felt in a long time on this streaming platform. We can follow the protagonists in their every day life, as they work, eat around a campfire, try to sleep, or crave for a shower. As Diego Luna said, the show really stresses how change and revolution can happen when regular people decide to do something. Places also feel incredibly real and close to us, thanks to a good mix of irl locations, vfx, costumes, and sound design. All the secondary characters were very well written and left a mark in their own way. I was really impressed by the whole show and I feel a little silly now for how much I liked stuff like the Mandalorian or even Kenobi when SW can technically be this good. I still like Mando, but now that it's been a while I can more realistically say that OWK really wasn't that good :s The original SW built the story more around mythos and archetypes, and that is still my favourite kind of SW I think, but Andor's perspective on the empire was very much needed and just another great way to deal with the same themes.
