Good god... going into this show blind was the right decision. I was struck by the powerful sense of mystery and uncanniness which built up as the episode played out, to the point of getting chills several times as certain pieces of information were revealed or shifted just enough to give you the growing sense that something here is /not right/. It buttered me up so much that I was freaked the fuck out by the ending. Frozen stiff and hands over my mouth in shock as the ending theme rolled. Jesus
