Worse than the first season 😪
I don't know how to say it gently, but this season felt like one big propaganda. U.S. army propaganda, police propaganda, and last but not least - murder glorification propaganda. The way they kill people so easily and readily in this show is so unsettling.
And I wouldn't say it if it was like this from the beginning, but the first season wasn't like this. I think.
The plot itself was the most generic, mainstream stuff you'll ever see. Not one bullet ever grazes our main heroes. They're superhumans, essentially. But the line between realistic and ridiculous feels too blurred, so it's just weird. As I already said, some moments feel like Bollywood without its usual decorum. It's just tasteless.
+ no emotional connections to the characters whatsoever. I cared for S1 people, for Roscoe and Finlay. They were genuine. Not in this season, nope.
I don't know if any of what I wrote makes sense, but that's how I feel. This show didn't do it for me, unfortunately.
