I’m going to miss these introductions. Margaret has always been my favorite resident of Twin Peaks, so these intros with her being a thinly veiled mouth piece for David Lynch’s incoherent ramblings…well I’ve been in hog heaven. I like that they brought it back full circle to her first intro, referring to Laura as ‘the one’ and hinting at her Black Lodge doppelgänger. I know duality, doppelgängers and multiple consciousnesses inhabiting one body is a very Lynchian theme, but TP really made use of this trope. Bob inhabiting Leland. Mike inhabiting Girard.
