oh boy. oh boy. i’ve seen a lot of people saying it was out of character for dean to say it should’ve been sam and not charlie, but i don’t really agree. he said it SHOULD have been you, not i WISH it was. analyzing this a bit too much but sam is a strong guy and dean knows that. charlie is young and (sorry, but be real) weak. if it was sam he has enough (cough plot armour) swing enough and to come back with open arms. i agree that early season dean wouldn’t have said that, but again, be real. both sam and dean have grown into and warped around their toxic sibling bond enough to where that line (“you wanna know what i think? i think it should be you up there.”) isn’t too far fetched. this episode is so poetic and does justice to the ENTIRE point of dean/sam and their dynamic. sam has become early season dean, and dean has become a weird and distorted reflection of demon blood addict sam.

i am who i am, and who i am is a girl that thinks too much into this show any chance she gets. rip charlie, who is def in heaven with racks of playboy mags and belladona tapes.

also, evil dead reference :3 devoured this ep like pie. 

normally it annoys me when people say this but crowley is LITERALLY just a silly guy. this episode was pie with burnt crust. my wee man didn’t deserve this betrayal !! then he goes sicko mode and that alone.. phew. easy 10/10.. !!!!!!!
