All the teenage drama crap in the first episodes really had me wondering if I was going to care for this season at all. It was in fact two thirds of the way done before I started to feel like I was watching a Stranger Things season and not just some other story featuring some of the Stranger Things characters. The last three episodes are fantastic, some of the best stuff Stranger Things has put out. Yet that last episode is incredibly under-edited. I'm just not a fan at all of those personal one on one dialogues the Duffer Brothers love to use to grow character relationships. There was so much of that here it's almost like the Duffer Brothers couldn't figure out another way to grow character relationships, and that to me shows writers' fatigue. Either way I was incredibly entertained by the great parts of this season. I do think it is probably the best season of Stranger Things yet, but only by a small margin over the first season.
