Wow, I hadn't heard of the Belle Gibson scandal before, and I think her actions were worse than Elizabeth Holmes's. Preying on the sick and vulnerable and giving them false hope are just some of the harmful things she did to the public. You know how people turn to religion when things get really bad? It's similar with this wellness/alternative/woo-woo health stuff. A combination of hardcore vegan ideologies, mental illness, narcissism, and a strong sense of self-belief is such a dangerous mix—wow. I still can't grasp her motive, though. Seems like she's just genuinely unwell. Also, I loved the hyper-stylized, social media-integrated approach and the soundtrack! The music coordinator did a great job. Makeup was great. The "cancer curls" frizzy hair done right. And such a super cool cast. I thought Kaitlyn Dever nailed the Aussie accent!
