Truly a return to form for the series. Season 19 picks up from the dreariness of the last season and uses that to enter a new era for the show. I'm glad we got another 20 episode season here because it was desperately needed for everything here to work. The new interns are amazing. The writers have learnt their lesson from Jo and the season 9 interns and have fully given us a new group of characters to actually all be invested in. Probably the biggest part in opening this new chapter is closing the last. We unfortunately lose Maggie and Meredith here and I am nothing but devastated. Although Mer still does the narration It is so strange and weird seeing her go but doing it this season was needed. Also gotta shout out my girls Addison Montgomery and Miranda Bailey. Their struggle in order to provide reproductive care and their endings were so amazing and I Bailey getting that award healed me. dgaf for Link and Jo though
