That’s some hell of crazy introductory episode, this is the type of pilot where I’m hooked instantly and all in for everything they will offer, straight peak. Severance is one of the series I wanted to start soon and I wanted to do it even before the release of S2, but here I am, as always, pretty late. This episode lays the foundations and introduce its world pretty perfectly to me, the first scene is absolutely great and the way it unfolds and explains to us as the episode go by the scene is brilliant. the whole cinematography and direction is such a blast for the eyes and it’s always a pleasure to begin a TV work that is very well worked and thought on that regard. The mystery is clearly enticing, the actors seem to be enjoying themselves, I already like the subtle themes and yeah this is overall, a sexy first episode and probably one of my favorites pilot ever, seems interesting. 😋
