Regardless of the drama behind Neil Gaiman at the moment this series is pretty good. I enjoyed the overall storyline but my god I would have watched this so much earlier if you had told me Jenna Coleman cameos in this. Pitch perfect casting for Boyd Holdbrook. I love this man so much and I was fully invested whenever he was on screen The season also chooses to have stand alone self contained stories in some episodes which work in the series favour. The Sandman: Dream of a Thousand Cats / Calliope (4/5) 02/01/25 As a little treat to go with series 1 we get a great two part one off story. The cats story was simple and seems very out of place in this universe. I enjoyed it though and it’s cute Calliope starring Rory Williams and The Master was great. I really enjoyed this from a world building perspective and it’s really entertaining i felt this worked well as a stand alone episode. It’s done incredibly well.
