𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔, 𝒂 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒘𝒂𝒓! This episode is just as peak as I remember, definitely in top5 of the anime so far for sure. 𝑹𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒓, 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑰'𝒍𝒍 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 '𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑰'𝒗 𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒆𝒔. The thing I love about season 4 is that the spectator is totally lost about which side to chose, Paradis, or Mahr, or the humanity as a whole. And that’s not even the only sides possible in this season, this is going to get much more complexe and I’m so hype for it. The fact that Eren came from protagonist to antagonist in one episode only is crazy. Even if he obviously is the protagonist of AOT, he definitely is the antagonist in those first episodes of season 4 because we see this from the point of view of Mahr. As a rewatch, I still don’t know what side I’m on, and that’s the power of AOT, it’s proving how complex it is to chose side when you know everything. And because AOT is a critical representation of our world, its significance is even stronger and meaningful. — ★★★★★ 𝟵.𝟳/𝟭𝟬 —
