9.4/10
This is technically the higher decimal rating than 1x3 and 1x6 which I DO like more, making this no3, but my ratings were low back in s1. This was just nuts man. There are some scenes with Matt that I genuinely can't believe are real because of how immersive the actor is. He brings one of the greatest written characters to life like nobody else could do (okay there is a lot of talent out there, but man this shit was born to play Matt).
The story is so dense this episode and it's weird to look back and see how all of this was fit in. It's just nonstop event after event, each getting heavier to watch, and there comes a point where every event consecutively gets more jawdropping than the last. Every Matt episode seems like it's dedicated to push the character's limits to the brink of insanity, but oh my gosh dude it's so satisfying and touching to see him always push forward out of faith and love.
