Really well done episode. It isn't my favourite, and I didn't enjoy this as much as my recognition for it might imply, but regardless, good episode. I'm mainly talking about the crazy ending (Tommy's acting is good I don't care what you say), and OOOOH that interview scene is so so good.

This entire scene when Lori is getting interviewed is such a good analysis. This writing analysed itself better than any "analyser" can. This random schmuck just went right into Lori's character deeper than anyone ever thought before. Somehow this came off as natural for the story, as well as serving such a good good explanation and analysis directly for the audience. We go over what Lori's thoughts were when the cult ultimately put her in the position where she was standing there, watching her divorced husband fix all her mistakes, while she was forced to be silent through the brainwash.

The publisher then asks, "How did that make you feel?" I'm not even the biggest fan of Lori or this episode, but oh my days you have to recognize the genius nature of this line. Lori is a THERAPIST. She's supposed to be asking that question. But now, correlating to how new life is opposite to her previous life in s1, the question is asked to the therapist, which is completely opposite. More on the therapist nature: the blonde girl at the beginning does a little *foreshadowing* to Lori's anger. Not only was her anger a confirmation of her patient knowing Lori better than she knows herself, this also calls back to Patti, a former patient, knowing Lori as well. She knew that Lori was frightened, and that she too knew that something horrible was going to happen.
