Genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had watching a series. Was gonna do a full show analysis but I realized that would be like 50 paragraphs so imma just talk about why I loved it so much. The Sopranos is everything I love about television. Crime, drama, comedy, compelling characters, and dysfunctional families are the 5 things I love the most in tv and this show is a perfect blend of all of these. Most of my favorite shows like bcs, sfu, and mad men took me a while to get hooked and to connect with them. But with The Sopranos, I knew from the first 10 minutes of the pilot that this was the show for me. I got hooked right away and fell in love with all the characters. This is basically my comfort show. I never found a single episode boring (except 1x10 and 2x2 😭) because I was so invested in the story and the characters. Everytime I had piles of schoolwork to do, I always looked forward to when I had free time to watch this show. Like it genuinely motivated me to finish my homework early just so I could sneak in an episode or two before midnight. I haven’t been this engaged in a show since breaking bad which i watched years ago. Everything about this show really is immensely special to me and I don’t think this will ever leave my top 5. Even if you don’t like the show that much, as I myself won’t deny that it has flaws, you can’t deny that it's incredibly well written and the impact it had on television during its time. Edie Falco does such a phenomenal job with her that I probably wouldn’t love her as much if another actress had played her. 3. Christopher Moltisanti 4. Bobby Baccallieri 5. AJ Soprano 6.
