Wasn’t sure about this one. It totally felt all over the place the first half, but each story garnered a specific feel throughout. Couldn’t place it, but my dad said it felt like “smth was going to die.” And holy shit. While smth did technically “die” nearer to the end of this it wasn’t what we felt was going to die. Chris wrapped this episode up appropriately talking about the same things Maurice had been talking about that time cannot be constrained. Watches and clocks do nothing more than tell us the time, they do not allow us to control it like Maurice initially pondered. And that’s kind of what the feeling was throughout the episode. “It feels like something is going to die,” my dad said not knowing he was talking about us. All of us.
