Even better than the Season 2 premiere! Easily the best directed episode of the show so far! Wow has Sam Donovan done an incredible job making the show reach a new technical high! Too many perfectly composed shots and satisfying lighting contrasts to name that totally languish in the darkening tensions of the mysteries. So many valuable character insights for the outties which tell us so much with so little. Severance continues to be the benchmark for logical narrative progression executed thrillingly and immaculately. I love this show so fucking much! I NEED TO KNOW WHAT COLD HARBOUR AND THE PINEAPPLES MEAN! Are Lumon so obsessed with pineapples they’re using the innies to reprogram them into sentience? What is happening?! I’ve never loved and hated not knowing anything more than this! Just brilliant all around. No notes! Very worried for Devon though.
