Sarcasm and irony in their rawest state, to reveal, unmask and make fun of one of the greatest social injustices in history. Donald Glover takes racism and starts playing basketball with it. He gives it a few twists and plays football with it. In his speech he is able to turn it around and use it at his pleasure to make us laugh and reflect at the same time on the unnaturalness of the whole problem. Atlanta is a series to raise awareness and penetrate deep into the collective subconscious, even allowing itself the luxury of including crazy stories that serve the same purpose. Some stories are perhaps too much, treading on the blurred line that separates sarcastic revenge from bullying towards the harasser. Recommended for those who have followed Paper Boi and his henchmen to advance on the path of music as a perfect pretext to get a laugh at the expense of the abusers. 7.10/10
