Oh my days dude s4 just dropped one of the hypest AoT episodes so far out of nowhere. The beginning with Eren is very weird on rewatch, because I still don't understand the ending to the fullest (I'm convinced that the ending to the show sacrificed continuity for being climactic and it's up to the audience to justify character motives), but so far, this writing is consistent and completely works. Eren's desire for freedom is very interesting, and the character work is actually nuts when you think about it. And this is probably the first s4 episode where the subplot gets so hype that it kind of becomes the main plot, leaving us with two great storylines (which should be default but sadly a good chunk of this season was a lot of talking). I remember how insane it was to see this Levi action, and it still is. The frame of him falling while being surrounded by 30 titans whom all were previously his comrades is so cool.
