The final 5 or so minutes are probably one of the highest peaks TV has reached, right? There's so many insane, complex dynamics between each character and very action and conversation is so meaningful, even with the smaller characters (the overall cops vs IAD mentality especially). Even the relationship they showed with Kavanaugh and his ex-wife is so deep for 45 minutes work. Just insane writing (and acting of course).
