absolutely nails the tone of the original movie, it's got a perfect mix of fun small town vibes and very dark murderous events. there are some pretty crazy twists in here, and an incredible antagonist in lorne malvo. great cinematography as well, scenes like the blizzard shootout in episode six really stand out to me. billy bob thornton and martin freeman give amazing performances too, i mean even key and peele are good in this. top 3 episodes: 1. the crocodile's dilemma. 2. morton's fork. 3. buridan's ass. top 3 characters: 1. lorne malvo. 2. molly solverson. 3. lester nygaard. as far as i'm aware the other seasons are all different stories, i've seen that the casts for them are stacked, so i am really looking forward to the rest of this show.
