It's not as masterful as Batman, but nobody expected it to be. Pretty much every good thing about BTAS can be applied here. Fantastic Superman adaptation with a mostly great side character and rogues gallery. The peaks rival any great Batman episode. The "average" episode in this show is certainly lower than one in Batman, which is probably why this show isn't quite as good, but it'll be hard to find a better and more faithful on-screen Superman experience than this. He has recently become one of my favorite characters of all time, and this show has only furthered this opinion.
