Creature Commandos has the James Gunn stamp all over it, but taken to the cube. If we could see this in his version of Suicide Squad, now with the unlimited resource of animation, he can have the luxury of doing and undoing whatever he pleases. And the thing is, it works! Rock, blood, sex, bullets, antiheroes, powers and a well-cohesive story that turns out to be quite interesting and entertaining. Packed with action, Creatures Commando is an excellent kickoff for the new era of DC Studios under the Gunn prism. If you've ever followed the DC animated universe, that's the quality of animation you can find here. Although I would say a little more stylized to get closer to the classic comic book style. Absolutely recommended for adults looking for that fresh air in products based on comics that only the new head of DC can give. 8.0/10
