8.3/10
It is seriously so unfortunate that not a lot of people are tuning in for the show, most definitely because of how fans have felt alienated by Star Wars and we might not get a second season due to low viewership, but the way things ended is quite satisfying so I'd be fine either ways. I really enjoyed this show, the premise, and what they did with Jude Law's character did subvert my expectations quite a bit because I was thinking they were gonna do the typical scoundrel-with-a-good-heart kinda thing, but it wasn't that at all. And I loved how despite being a show centralized on kids, they still had a lot of darkness and realism to contrast the kids' naivete and develop their characters through those dark moments. This is a story separate from the main storylines, not leaning on any fanservice, and you can clearly see the passion behind the script. Overall, its a very enjoyable show and I highly encourage everyone to check it out on Disney+ because it's performing even lower than The Acolyte right now.
