I know people liked this a lot (apparently), so I hope I don't look like an asshole if I say that I felt extremely underwhelmed by it. Skeleton Crew is a self-contained story with some of the lowest stakes ever seen in the franchise, and barely justifies its existence. And there's nothing wrong with this per se, but at the same time nothing really stands out to make it interesting or remarkable in any way? If you love the Amblin feel (with all the 80s movie clichés and power of friendship resolution), you might enjoy this. Otherwise... well.
