This episode was another great addition to what’s shaping up to be one of the best stretches in the season so far. The pacing was intense, with every moment feeling crucial. The balance between action and character depth was handled perfectly, giving the episode an emotional weight that hits just as hard as the fight scenes. The show is at its best when it blends its themes of trust, sacrifice, and survival, and this episode delivered all of that.
Levi and Erwin continue to prove why they’re one of the most captivating characters in the show. Their commanding presence and calculated decisions make you feel like everything is on a knife’s edge. This run of episodes just keeps getting better, and I’m all in.

This episode’s flashback with Levi’s squad and Eren was one of the highlights. The parallel between Eren’s struggle to trust his team and their unwavering belief in him was so well done. The line about how Eren needs to have faith in them rather than rely on his Titan form really hit, especially when you see the consequences of his choice. It added so much emotional weight to the story and made the stakes feel even higher.
The action with the Female Titan was on point again. Seeing Levi’s squad go all in to protect Eren was both thrilling and heartbreaking, knowing what happens by the end. Their sacrifice wasn’t just devastating, it was a defining moment for Eren, forcing him to confront the cost of his decisions.
This episode was packed with emotional depth, intense action, and some really strong character moments. The series keeps raising the bar, and I can’t wait to see how exactly they’ll discover who the female titan really is.
