And here we have the final season of What If...?, a minor MCU product, but one that has quite pleased fans. This third installment begins in a rather hesitant way, with lukewarm stories that don't take too many risks. The animation is the same as in previous seasons, following the visual line characteristic of this alternate series. This time, a couple of new characters are incorporated that raise the quality of the general narrative. But let's be clear that there are good and bad things. Among the bad things, I don't understand the obsession that the creators of the series had with Howard the Duck, a character without plot weight, without emotional weight, without comic weight. His presence is a mere anecdotal wink and nothing more, but they insist on using him. Among the good things are the correct use of Infinite Ultron, the hierarchy of power between characters and the composite closure between episodes 7 and 8, which demonstrate the great potential, correctly exploited this time, that the series had. It's a wonderful series finale, using what animation has to offer, pushing narrative boundaries that live action can't cross. All in all, this season starts off mediocre, and closes majestically. Recommended for the few Marvel fans still out there, waiting for the studio to deliver some good products. Well, this is something close to that, at least. 6.88/10
