Solid episode but definitely borders on the more filler-y side of this season. This can be said about a lot of shows from this era but this season could 100% benefit from having less episodes, none of the characters are interesting enough yet to warrant this runtime and I feel like out of a good handful of episodes so far I've gotten at least one memorable plot that stuck with me and felt meaningful for the characters and two that were just alright and didn't do much. Also as much as Julien and Danny and Dutch and Claudette have been pretty reliable each episode in terms of both having an episodic plot, on the other hand the strike team feels all over the place. The first 4 or so episodes were really tight for them but afterwards it feels like we've gotten one episode with Vic and Shane, one with just Vic, one with Vic, Lem and Ronnie, etc, and the only one to get properly explored in an intriguing way is Vic. It makes me genuinely wonder if actors simply couldn't be on set for certain episodes because of how unsteady they've felt throughout most of this season. Overall I really just think this show needs to be more reliable in terms of its cast and make its episodic plots better written and more relevant when it comes to adding depth to the characters and progressing the over-arching conflicts, but I'm anticipating the season will pick up from here luckily.
