It's been a while since I've seen a live action series as well written as Black Doves. It's a spy game where there are several mitigating factors and nuances that lean towards drama, action and a couple of effective sparks of comedy precisely placed in the script as a nice ornament. There are plot twists, there are one-on-one confrontations, there are shootouts, there are deaths, all so that the series never tips over and keeps you entertained all the time, while a story full of mysteries unravels.
Black Doves deserves, despite its slight problems in direction and editing, to be among the highlights of its year, becoming an infallible recommendation in terms of series distributed by Netflix.
