Immensely influential, clearly a bit overrated and sometimes that influence is a detriment to the medium, rather than a compliment. But honestly, it has really been a groundbreaking show for not only western adult animation, but the broader Sci-Fi umbrella. Really inventive sci-fi concepts and occasionally thoughtful deconstruction of tropes, albeit a tinge too far on the cynicism.
