I have missed watching shows where the storytelling is the main prerogative. This show denies the ideal concept of a tv show which is a fast-paced show filled with drama in each episode. Mad Men takes the long route in which they establish each setting in the first few episodes and only in the last 1 or 2 episodes do we get to see the consequences. The characters are so well written and is probably the show's greatest achievement. Don appears to be the perfect man when in reality he is haunted by his own demons. Love him or hate him he is entertaining to watch. Personally think this is a great representation of the sixties and I am also surprised of how much they addressed controversial topics, most shows wouldn’t have bothered or even cared.
