This was a pretty good season overall. The winner was obvious from episode 1 and I'm not saying she didn't deserve it, but production or the judging panel clearly liked her from the start. I think Michelle did a great job of hosting and it was nice to see her connect with the cast on camera more than we get to see in the American seasons. While I do think this was an enjoyable season, I'm not sure why some reviews act like it's the best Down Under season we've had, or that RuPaul hosting was such a horrible thing. I think RuPaul's chaotic energy was missed and caused the season to be less talked about honestly. This isn't to take away from Michelle, I just don't understand the negative sentiment towards RuPaul by SOME people, when he overall is a fine host for the show and many queens dream of being judged by him.
