That proved itself worthwhile by the end. I'm actually interested in what's on the way! I'm not sure how you cast four kids that are better actors than your adults, but the kids are hitting every beat they're asked of, which is impressive in and of itself nowadays! I don't know what to identify it as besides "the default Disney Star Wars visual", but the opening scene had this look I realized almost immediately I'm just really tired of. The switch to the domestic planet was then a welcome change, and though I have some small qualms with just how familiar/analogous certain objects, ideas, and phrases were to Earth's, it was overall an interesting setting in which to visit the galaxy. Besides some of the writing (especially humor) being embarrassingly kiddie - we can be kid-friendly without stooping to these levels, folks - the majority was good enough to endear me to at least Neel and Wim. So having expected to skip this series completely (now that I think about it, I might have lost interest in non-Andor Star Wars as a brand entirely at this point), I'm pleasantly surprised to say I'll try to keep going until at least Daniels' episode.
