Intro was phenomenal, the cinematography was to die for. The character Charles is so well written, he was methodical, manipulative and there is nothing in this series that tries to him steer in the “good guy” narrative. He is who he is and there’s nothing you can do about it. Though I was a bit disappointed in Bianca’s characterisation. I watched the bts of making the Jackal and seeing the Bianca’s actress (Lashana Lynch) be so proud to be involved in the representation of the character was inspiring. But I do think from viewers pov the character seemed a bit too aloof. I realise that they wanted to portray badass female character, I’m just sad that it didn’t translate in that way while watching it. The writing truly did not back it up.
