Watched this pilot and half of episode 2 like a year and a half ago but never continued. So gonna be watching with @BraedenLlama and it'll be both of our first time watching instead of me rewatching got when he was watching for the first time. 

Anyways this pilot is really really good. Very underrated don't hear a lot of praise surrounding it. It's just as good as I remember, possibly better. It establishes the plot very well, introduces a whole cast of new and interesting characters already excellently portraying their dynamics. The dialogues feel like prime game of thrones which is so refreshing after coming off 5-8. There's some really amazing scenes like the loss of the child and wife, the funeral and then the confrontation between Viserys and Daemon. It's highly entertaining with the tournament yet has that raw emotion counteracting it simultaneously with the birth and deaths. The acting is something I need to point out especially Viserys' actor he was amazing. Soundtrack always hits ofc, even if they're using similar or the same songs from GOT. I have high hopes for S1 maybe not so much for S2 as I hear quite a bit of negatives coming from it, but can't wait to watch more.
