this show hit hard the first time i watched it, but revisiting it a month after my great grandma passed, it’s on a whole different level. the absurdity of the animation paired with deep, existential conversations about life, death, and everything in between feels so much more personal now. the show’s reflections on loss and love are so raw and real. it shows that death isn’t just an ending, but a part of the strange, beautiful process of living. it was a painful rewatch, but also comforting in its reminder that those we love stay with us, in memory and beyond.
