Although I really appreciate the visuals, the art style and the creativity of this series, I was not the biggest fan of NGE solely because of the INSANE fanservice of minors that I could not (and SHOULD not) overlook. I will never understand why it is not talked about enough. All I see is everyone glazing this series all the time but NO ONE talks about the crazy fucking fanservice. Like am I delusional??? Did we all watch the same thing?? I wish the fanservice was completely cut off so I could have enjoyed the other amazing parts of this series. Other than all that, I enjoyed the EoE movie more than the series I would say, (except the two questionable scenes) which is a plus? Or not? I don’t even know anymore. The show’s pacing was also too fucking slow in the first part of the series. The second part was way more enjoyable. My fav part of the series and why I gave it way too many stars was the complexity of the characters and the character development of all of them. My fav character was Misato but even she had questionable moments so I can’t even proudly say that… NGE remake without the crazy ass fanservice when? 😔
