The most perfect episode on television. No superlatives can describe Heaven Sent. Whatever your expectations of the episode, know this: no one is ready for the experience you're about to have. This is the most profound episode I've ever seen in my life. I've never felt such emotion and anxiety in front of audiovisual content before. The character work around the Doctor is inhuman. It's unimaginable to create such a character. This episode confirms that, in my eyes, he's the greatest character ever created. The work on his psychology following the events of the previous episode is exceptional. We're inside the doctor's head, going through all kinds of things. Throughout the episode we study him, confronting his guilt, his regrets, his emotional journey and his sense of arrogance. The episode lasts 1 hour and feels like 2 minutes. It's the best-paced, best-written episode, and also the greatest character work ever conceived. Literally nothing to take away from the episode, everything is absolutely in its place to create the ultimate episode of television. I can't believe how fucking perfect it was. It's an experience of a lifetime, this review is worthless compared to the immensity of the episode. I'm not here to analyze the latter, because it would take at least a dozen days and several viewings to be able to analyze it, and even that I'm not even sure would be enough. Capaldi's acting performance is immense. Potentially the greatest acting performance in an episode of television. The work on lighting, visuals, staging, music - I won't even go into it, it's unimaginable. As you might have guessed, in my eyes, this is the most perfect episode on television. Everything is mastered to create the ultimate piece of work. I'm at a loss for words, really. Thank you Moffat, you're the goat you think you are. Watched with @4urxlz and @Dvovani
