I loved this omg, all the parallels and references and even that same annoying old colleague Lynette ran into in the pilot!! And Karen :( her and Roy have been one of my favourite parts of this season, there’s just so much genuine love and I’ve loved watching them talk about death so plainly and only wanting to be together at the end. Such a sad but beautiful thing for Kathryn Joosten to have shared on and off the screen, must be such an intense experience to portray something you know is about to happen to you so soon. Glad she got a posthumous Emmy nom for this season too, she was fantastic, she’d already won two over the shows run but it feels extra special to be recognised for your work even after you’re gone <3 Honestly I didn’t love the overall ending but also don’t really know what I’d of done differently so …maybe Tom could’ve died in a fiery explosion? that’s just one idea I’ve been watching desperate housewives since June, it’s been a really good constant to me and I’m really gonna miss it, it’s been an absolute ride, so mad and so funny and just everything I hoped it would be :) I always have that one multiple season show I’ve got on the go that just becomes more of a main one for a while than others and this did the job perfectly <3 Think I’ll miss slagging Susan off the most
