See NOW this is what I'm talking about. Season 15 has been such a lukewarm follow up to Season 14, not just in quality, but in the way it handles what "Moriah" set up. The first arc of the season is some bizarre ghost apocalypse where the stakes never felt as high as they needed to be. This episode, like Moriah, is so meta to the point that it hurts and you either love that or you don't, and I love it. I love how Chuck engineers an entire monster of the week episode to fuck with Sam and Dean. What a grand farewell to Steve Yockey, you were easily the best writer of any season after Season 5 and I now definitely need to watch The Flight Attendent.
