i didn't enjoy some episodes as much as my first watch, while i preferred others this time round. i loved all the same type of aspects though. it has one of my favourite soundtracks oat, and i actually listen to it in my free time, it perfectly matches the vibes and emotions of the show and world. talking of vibes, i can't put my finger on it, but the aesthetic and vibes of the world and show are the best of any show i've ever seen. i wasn't the biggest fan of the game (but i only played 10 hours) but in the show the way it's portrayed and the way the characters perfectly mesh with the world creates such a great viewing experience. the animation is great for the most part, the style is great and the quality in most scenes is pretty good. the way the plot is structured wasn't great at times, i think the anime should have been considerably longer, because the plot doesn't feel THAT rushed but the character development sometimes does, and with such a big cast it's hard for me to be attached and care about them in such a short timespan. it worked well for david and lucy tho, and considering how short it is they did a good job. some of the deaths just feel like they're for shock value the plot is also pretty badly explained at some point and the show feels messy there's also a small dip in quality imo in episode 7 and 8 overall i'd say it's a really good show tho and i'm looking forward to more cyberpunk content (i'll also revisit the game) top 5 characters: 1.
