"A deep, dark cave..."

The monster running slower than a car was an all timer for this show's bullshitery in this season. The fake out Hopper death, the terrible Jonathan & Nancy scene (shared trauma) and the lame wrap up to this season's big bad, I don't get any of the high points people registered with this. Not one scene between Max & Billy has established anything but outright hatred for one another, so his death rang hollow and I was happy the abusive piece of shit is finally gone. They ruined Hopper completely this season and made him borderline unrecognizable from his previous self, which I'll explain in my in depth review for this season over the next few days. His emotional beat with Eleven didn't hit me because they've spent so much time apart in this season that I feel like I've lost the attachment to their bond. I truly hope they redeem themselves next season, I *hated* this season.
