Biggest surprise of 2024 is this show being actually one of the better Disney+ shows released by Marvel. I thought the first half was extremely weak, due to me reluctantly watching the show since it felt very unnecessary for them to make a show about Agatha Harkness of all people, and the first half had a lot of telling and not showing, which made sense down the road because there were certain things revealed that turned out to be entirely false from what they said in the first half. The second half is significantly better, with each character having their moment to shine, and all the twists and turns were so fun. This show actually made me care about characters I have never heard of before. This is also the most gay MCU project and I love it. I really didn't want to like this show, especially since there's The Penguin and Superman & Lois airing at the same time, but the last two episodes definitely lived up to their level. I also love how separated this show feels from the MCU, only connecting to WandaVision, and not making a reference every two seconds, that is the perfect amount of connection to the MCU. My other issue lies in the Salem Seven, as they barely felt like threats to the show, I forgot they were even there so many times, when they could've added to how evil Agatha was by what she did to them.
