This is unlike anything else, it’s so strange in so many ways but I really enjoyed it. Everything about it is quirky but that quirkiness creates such an intoxicating atmosphere. Because it’s 1990 it just has completely different feel to anything else I’ve seen. There’s just so much intrigue created around everything, every character has a question mark around them no matter how unimportant they seem and the score is so great. I could understand this being somewhat of an acquired taste for some because most scenes can merit the question of “Why did that happen?” or “Who was that?” but you just have to experience it rather than understand it, the overarching mystery of Laura’s death keeps everything connected and keeps the drive to watch.
