Surprisingly, I’m actually starting to warm up to the addict plot line. That’s mostly because every time I rewatch this season, I’m reminded about just how goddamn entertaining Lila’s character is lol. Like she’s clearly a crazy bitch (As we will see plenty of later on), but good lord do I not at all blame Dexter for taking interest in her. Aside from that, seeing Deb struggle with moving on from what happened with her and the Ice Truck Killer was very compelling primarily because it’s an irritatingly rare example of plot lines and major events from the last season bleeding over into the next. Definitely stand by what I said last episode about this season easily being the best season so far at carrying over previous plot lines. Lundy is a super entertaining character. Love Keith Carradine. Also, on rewatch, seeing Pascal fall apart so completely knowing the context of what’s really going on there was far more entertaining than it should’ve been lmao. The ending scene was absolutely wonderful and added so much to Dexter’s general character and the state we’ve found Dexter in at the start of this season, torn between who he thought he was and who he now realizes he can be.
