Poster for Kuroko's Basketball
Usually I've done more indepth reviews n opinions, but I want to make this one brief 1) This shouldve been a subtle BL harem anime. The sexual tension and queer coding between Kuroko and the miracles (and others) was beyond extraordinary. I'm sorry, but theres no reason for Akashi to tell men to get on their knees and for the whole "shadow to your light" crap by Kuroko to any man (aomine... taiga... Kise...) he sees if they werent going to make them smash 2) Momoi was underutilised and disposed of way too quickly. They made her Aomine's side commentator whose clueless about basketball despite her being a talented-indepth researcher and strategist. Especially since they missed a hilarious gag where Momoi could've went into the zone despite being on the sidelines as a coach/manager (and seeing people react with confusion) 3) Shogo Haizaki was underused and casted away way too quickly. He was genuinely such an interesting character that got dumped after like 3 episodes. If I were to improve his character I would've had him transfer to Seiren in his 2nd year and make him possessive over Kuroko to make Taiga jealous (stealing him). 4) The anime (/manga) felt like the writer went into the story without thoughts of future chapters (similar to PJO writer) and wrote themselves into lacklustre character writing by the end. 5) Kuroko and Midorima deserved the Zone. If only they got 2nd year chapters where we saw more of them, but I understand why they didnt want to continue it 6) the games were fun even tho half of this shit made no sense (like the void??? wdym u cant jump) 7) the rating I gave is just superficial. Some aspects were good, some were bad. Its only issue is how they made 16 year olds look like sexy 21 year olds
