Without spoiling anything, "The Value of Life" is best episode of Re:Zero so far, and one of my favorite television episodes period, having a great blend of everything that makes this show great. It has an incredible disturbing and morbid tone akin to "The Outside of Madness", but also managing to balance it out with a handful of revelations, along with one of the most satisfying and emotional moments in the series that has been built up to since the beginning. All of these things along with the beautiful animation, amazing voice acting (Especially Yûsuke Kobayashi's stunning performance), and great music make for what's probably the best episode of the year, and one of my favorite pieces of television ever. Perfect 10/10.
