This season was a disappointment for sure, but honestly I fully expected this as we already saw the quality dip so much in season 7. It honestly feels like the writers and producers just wanted to push out these last two seasons without any regard for the story and characters. Everything from season 7 on was so rushed and they didn’t give any time for anything to develop. Some of the moments in season 8 actually could’ve been pretty good if they didn’t rush through everything. The worst part about this season by far was the butchering of almost every character. Almost every character arc that has been built up got completely destroyed and it was extremely hard to watch. Overall probably the worst season I’ve ever watched and when I rewatch Got I will do myself the favor of skipping this horrible mess of a season.
